Cowboy Boot

carpenter’s pencil
traced around my foot

I stepped off the paper
pulled off the left boot

me
you can
a while

the tools dust on them

calendar
you know
and my heel

traced around my foot twice
Painted Warrior
up the road
tapped my leg off the paper
our faces two sheets together
the pencil… Pushed
