23rd anniversary in haiku

 

I used the #haikuchallenge words from Twitter to celebrate our anniversary. It was yesterday and we went out to a pumpkin 🎃 patch early in the afternoon and then Shawn and I had dinner at The Angry Crab Shack in Goodyear. Had a 🦞 appetizer, 2 boiled bags – 1 clams and 1 shrimp 🍤 with a lobster tail added. A couple weekends ago we went to the Goodyear Roundup over at the Goodyear Ballpark and I really wanted to try the Maine Lobster truck, but the line was super long so we chose other food trucks to try. It was a really fun time with good food, but I was still craving seafood. The dinner last night really hit the spot.

Random Acts of Poetry Day

Last month Gretchen picked up a stone painting kit and we learned about the kindness rock project. The above painting was my attempt at being artistic.  Gretchen’s stones turned out much nicer.  I gave Gretchen the above stone today to release somewhere for random acts of poetry day.
